Bishop Earl Boyea will be here at St. Mary on the Lake on Sunday, March 19, 2023 to bless our new altar. The consecration of an altar is the responsibility of the bishop.

In Catholic tradition, the rites of anointing, incensing, covering and lighting the altar are visible signs of the invisible work that the Lord accomplishes through the Church.
