OUTSIDE THE PARISH EVENTS!

To everything there is a season. God even designed “seasons” into a woman’s fertility. Couples trained in Natural Family Planning have learned to recognize the seasons, which effectively allows them to achieve or postpone a pregnancy.  The next scheduled Introduction to NFP will be THURSDAY MAY 13 from 7-9 pm at St. Mary Star of the Sea parish, IMMACULATA HALL  ANYONE interested in learning more is welcome!  Pre-Registration is required. Call the Parish Office (517-784-7184) or Maria Ansett RN at 517-974-2330.

Join us for a One-Day Seminar on the Holy Spirit on SATURDAY, May 22 from  9:30 am-3:30 pm in the Education Building at St. Anthony (St Teresa of Calcutta Room) to learn more about The Holy Spirit and to pray for a rekindling of the Spirit in our hearts. The day will include praise & worship along with video talks: Who is the Holy Spirit?, What Does the Holy Spirit do? and How Can I be Filled with the Holy Spirit?  Lunch will be provided.  If you are interested in attending please register (space is limited) by May 20:  Call the Parish Office (437-3305) or Lonnie Applegate 517-902-5714 or Maria Ansett 517-974-2330.  For this reason I remind you to rekindle the gift of God that is within you through the laying on of my hands; for God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and love and self-control”
